Survival Chinese Course

These courses are designed for students who have busy schedules and do not have time for a long term study plan. The course enables students to survive daily life in China. By focusing on the Chinese phonetic system first (Pinyin) and then on basic daily conversational situations such as living, working and travelling in China, “surviving” in daily life will be easy. You can take classes level by level according to your specific needs.

Classes:

Part time (2-3 sessions/week) classes
Intensive group classes (4-5 sessions/week), with 2.5 or 3 hours each session.

Professional Chinese Course

This course is designed to deliver maximum improvement in Business Chinese in the fastest possible time.

This is a programme designed to give the student the skills, knowledge and confidence and  polite social communication skills required to succeed in business area.

The brief accounts of Chinese society, culture, customs and commercial background knowledge, will help students in understanding the general situation of China in the economic field.

Academic Chinese Course

This is the ultimate language training programme designed for the most ambitious learners focusing on the areas that need development speaking, listening, reading and writing in the short run.

With systematical and interesting contents, students can improve their Chinese step by step.

The materials help students to recognize characters required for further learning.

Upon completion of this course, students should have achieved about 1,600 new words and 800 Chinese characters, and the confidence for daily communication, reading essays and newspapers, as well as representing their views using complex sentences. This course is an immersion into the Chinese language with over 230 hours of intensive study.Social program available.

Cross-Culture Course

The goal is to focus on the impact of culture on business and communication. Highly beneficial for Managers, Executives and Business professionals who seek the understanding of the Chinese psyche and how it influences Chinese Business Systems & Styles.

The training is based on the unique 5 C’s model of cross-cultural understanding, which offers a framework to help the student deal with any culture and the different ways of doing business. The training gives the student the key to what those differences are and the detailed information needed to achieve success.

Special courses

Preparation For Examinations (HSK)

Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, known as HSK is held regularly in China and other countries each year. Certificates of HSK will be issued to those who have achieved the required scores. These courses are designed to teach students methods that will assist them in attaining a high score on the Examinations. While the courses content includes grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and writing, the primary focus is on testing skills and strategies.

Professional Chinese Course

Time can also be allocated for specific topics – finance, chemicals, literature, etc, Teachers are available for private tutoring.

The vocabulary content of the text materials will be customized on an on-going basis – seek advice and comments from the student to cater for specific requirements.

Chinese Mandarin Pronunciation

Chinese is not a phonetic language. The pronunciation is not related to the writing of Chinese words (characters). A special tool – Pinyin ( the spelling of the sound) is the most common standard for representing Standard Mandarin in the Latin alphabet.

The written Pinyin is similar to English alphabet. There are 4 tones in Mandarin Chinese. Each Chinese word (character) carries a tone. Different tones carry different meanings. Do you want to speak standard Mandarin? See Learning Center will help you to achieve the goal.

Chinese Culture Course

The Culture course are group or individual classes focusing on specific aspects of traditional Chinese culture, such as, Chinese wash painting, calligraphy, and Tai Chi.

Summer Study Tour

The Summer camp is known for its creative programmes where learning and fun go hand-in-hand. By using an interactive teaching method, games and activities, our goal is to provide the students with an opportunity to learn Mandarin in a positive and happy international environment. The students will enjoy traditional Chinese culture – Chinese painting, Chinese songs and Chinese snacks etc.

Ages & Enrollment

Children from 4 to 14 years old from all over the world. Five different courses from the very beginning to advanced. The class placements will be according to student’s age, their current Chinese knowledge and the placement test. For enrolment, a legal visa and health certificate needed.

Class size

Maximum 10.
More interactive, more personal attention and more opportunities to speak the language.
* Specific schedule could be designed for individuals or organizations with more than 3 children.

Schedule:

From Monday to Friday.
Morning: 9:30 – 12:30, Afternoon: 13:30 – 16:00

The students can choose either morning or afternoon camp or both. Mandarin courses in the morning and activities such as handicraft, Kung-Fu, drawing and musical instruments playing in the afternoon.

Summer/Winter Camp

The summer tour combines learning and fun. We provide the students with an interesting curriculum and outdoor activities. The students will enjoy traditional Chinese culture – Chinese painting, Chinese songs and Chinese snacks etc.

Classes run Monday to Friday.

Morning: 9:30 – 12:30, Afternoon: 13:30 – 16:00

The students can choose either morning or afternoon course or both. All-day camp is also available. Mandarin courses in the morning and cultural course and activities – Chinese history, geography, customs and hand making etc  – in the afternoon. Once a week, downtown trips to Shanghai’s major attractions such as Bund, Oriental Pearl Tower, Yu Yuan Garden, Old City God’s Temple (Market) and Shanghai Museum. Once a week sightseeing during the weekend to satellite cities around Shanghai, Zhouzhuang, Suzhou, Xitang and Hangzhou will be available.

Dalian:
Dalian, located at the southern tip of the Liaodong Peninsula, is an important port and industrial and tourist city. Dalian has a long coastline. A pleasant climate with clearly demarcated seasons – Cool summers and warm winters make Dalian a comfortable choice for studying and living.

Beijing:
As the capital of the People’s Republic of China, Beijing is the nation’s centre of government, economy, culture, and international activities, as well as serving as a transportation hub to the entire country.

Beijing has a long history -as early as 500,000 years ago!
It has many places of interest, including ancient architecture, royal gardens, mansions, towers, temples, palaces, and modern structures. It is a gathering place of artists and other talented people.

Guangzhou:
Known as the “City of Flowers”, there are over 150 historical sites in addition to the many modern facilities for recreation in Guangzhou to explore. The city is also famous for embroidery, local opera, and food.

Shanghai:
Shanghai is located along the coast of the East China Sea and the southern banks of the mouth of the Yangtze River. It is the largest metropolis in China and one of the most historically significant cities.
Shanghai is an ideal “shopping paradise. It is also a paradise for gourmets. There are over a thousand restaurants serving the famous 16 styles of Chinese food, such as Beijing, Sichuan, Guangdong, Yangzhou, Fujian. There is also French, Russian, Italian, English, German, Japanese, Indian and many other tantalizing types of foreign cuisine, genuine Muslim food and vegetarian food. In Shanghai you have the world at your fingertips!
