BEARWOOD (WOKINGHAM – READING)

Bearwood College is situated in a large estate in over 5,000 acres with its own private lake and is surrounded by beautiful woodland.

The Mansion House is the centre of the College around which all the other buildings are located. It is situated near Reading in Berkshire with easy access to London by road or rail.

In 1827 the school was first used to care for and educate the children of those “lost at sea”, orphans of the Royal Merchant Navy. By 1961 it had become an Independent School under its new name of Bearwood College .

•  Maximum number of beds: 180 spread over 4 boarding houses.

•  Continental breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Packed lunch with full day excursions.

•  Full day excursion include London and Oxford . Half day excursions include: Windsor , Reading or Henley-on-Thames.
